Connect with the CISCO network switch device
Make sure the network cable is using the right port
Please consult your IT team for the right port number
Further IT specifications can be found here
Check if the connection is working (blinking lights)
Example of port socket numbers used at Puma stores globally:
You can test the player installation by connecting the hardware to headphones:
Plug the headphone audio cable into the headphone port of the music player
You should immediately hear music
If you can't hear music, make sure the volume on the amplifier is at an audible level. Ensure that the right input channel is selected on the amplifier
If you still can't hear music, check the output signal by plugging in the headphones in that port of the music player
If you can hear music played out via the headphones, then the music player has been installed correctly
If you still can't hear any music being played out, then please follow our troubleshooting guide
Please ensure a steady network connection - the player needs to be online on a regular basis and not blocked by any firewall so that it can update with new music content and troubleshooting support can be provided if needed. Otherwise, the quality of our service will be compromised.
HearDis! will continuously check the player online connection and will reach out to you if players have been offline for more than three weeks.
