Instructions for replacing an existing music player with the HearDis! media hardware
Go to the server rack and search for the amplifier and the old music player (e.g. MOOD player).
Example:
amplifier (BOSE in this case)
old music player (MOOD in this case)
Pull out the old music player as shown in the picture
Unplug three cables from the device (network cable, audio cable which is connected to the amplifier, power cable)
At that point: only remove the power cable entirely from the server cabinet.

If your set-up has a BOSE or Cloud amplifier (or similar), we recommend using the audio cable provided by us.
Connect the HearDis! music player directly with one of the RCA input plugs (exchange the existing cable)
Choose one input channel (e.g. AUX, Input A, Line A, etc.) on the back of the amplifier
red plug (right channel) in red or R
white plug (left channel) in white or L
Switch to the corresponding input channel on the front of the amplifier (input, music source) to e.g. AUX, Input A, Line A, etc.

If your set-up has one of the following amplifiers or similar ones
without a visible RCA input, we recommend keeping and using the existing audio cable.

If it's not possible to connect the HearDis! audio cable directly, please use the supplied RSA adapter to connect our audio cable with the cable from your amplifier.
We recommend securing the connection with additional tape in this case
